ENERGY-PORTRAITS I CALL THEM.

The trinity of spirituality, art and science is my mode of transport, my Merkabah. It takes me to places that are otherwise inaccessible. I experience these travels as a feeling of absolute freedom. It feeds my creativity. It helps me to see and forge new links. For me painting is the path to self-love. It lets me find a balance in the duality of life. I make this visible based on the course of my life, which is the source of the themes for my paintings. Because of their universal character, which I call abstract, my paintings are also useful to others. This gives them a collective function. To my mind this is what art should do, provide an impetus towards a higher consciousness. Art is sharing the creative power of God. I regard the fact that I may do this as a blessing. It is as if I am invited to sit with the creator at a table in his studio. There I receive the paintings as a multidimensional energy. When I paint I convey the spirit into the material by sharing in the creative power. Then I feel free and in balance: I wish that feeling on everyone, peace.
