VOLO
seeing what connects us
The painting ‘Reparare Columna Vertebralis Paludum’ (‘Repairing the spinal column of Hoensbroek’) is the inducement to the exhibition ‘Volo, zien wat ons verbindt’ ('Volo, seeing what connects us'). The painting is inspired by a meditative moment together with priest S. Nevelstein in the Little St. Jan Church of Hoensbroek (NL).

St. Jan
The painting is inspired by a meditative moment together with priest S. Nevelstein in the Little St. Jan Church of Hoensbroek (NL). This little church has a history of 800 years and tells the story of Hoensbroek.
Duality of systems
The exhibition ‘Volo, zien wat ons verbindt’, which took place in the Little St. Jan Church from May 17th until June 20th, 2015, tells about the duality of systems: they can either bind us when applied in a rigid way, or they can support us to see more and to connect with others.
